Suzanne Seidel Richmond
Suzanne is an experienced Virginia trial attorney with nearly two decades of experience in the criminal justice system. Her professional background includes service as a prosecutor, public defender, appellate attorney, and criminal defense lawyer.
This experience has given her a unique and comprehensive understanding of the legal system from multiple perspectives. Throughout her career, she has handled hundreds of criminal cases and represented clients in courts throughout Virginia and in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
Suzanne is a native and current resident of Virginia Beach. After graduating from Kempsville High School, Suzanne earned a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Virginia Tech and a Juris Doctor from Regent University School of Law.
After law school, Suzanne was a law clerk in the Roanoke Circuit Court. She then served as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney in Norfolk, where she prosecuted a wide range of criminal offenses and gained significant courtroom and trial experience. She later served as an Assistant Public Defender, representing individuals charged with criminal offenses and advocating for their constitutional rights. Suzanne also served as an Assistant Attorney General handling criminal appeals, where she litigated complex legal issues and appellate matters on behalf of the Commonwealth.
